To-Do List For Your Eyes In Winter

In particular, as we are living in a digital world now and use our eyes 24 hours a day, we suffer from eye strain and eye diseases such as dry eye syndrome easily. Many people are suffering from eye fatigue, yet they don’t know what to do to start caring their eyes. Therefore, we prepare a to-do list for the health of your eyes in winter.

>> LIST. 1 Moisture is The Priority

Water can revive a dying plant and revitalize dry and itchy skin. Similarly, supplying moisture is the highest priority for dry eyes.

A lack of moisture in eyes causes the central nervous system to emit a wrong signal to stop the production of tears, leading to an unstable eye condition in which irritation occurs. To assure a sufficient water level in our bodies, drink water frequently and maintain an indoor humidity of 60%. Placing plants and using a mist to spray water around you are also great methods.

Staring at computer during work and smartphone before and after work leaves no rest time for your eyes. Let’s give your eyes a break.

Closing your eyes for 5-10 minutes every 50 minutes after watching television, reading books or looking at the computer monitor and massaging them gently are recommended, Also, it is better to put your smartphone down for a minute in the car because if your eye muscles are overstressed to focus on the monitor, fatigue can accumulate rapidly.

Since eyes are sensitive to blood circulation, providing warmth to your eyes by steaming can boost blood circulation and relive stiff eye muscles.
